Watch: PBS News Hour Weekend segment on cohousing

Feb 12, 2017 1:22 PM EST

This PBS New House Weekend segment from February 2017 visits the cohousing community in Denmark that started the cohousing movement, and a community in Massachusetts.

Titled "Cohousing communities help prevent social isolation," the piece looks at how intergenerational living enhances social connectivity for all residents, especially seniors.

Along the way, there are some good quotes from the residents on the benefits of their choice and the challenges as more community members grow older.
