BCC Debuts on the 3rd Annual 2026 Durham Garden Tour, May 2-3

BCC debuts this year as one of the stops on the 2026 Durham Garden Tour, Saturday & Sunday, May 2 & 3, 10am-3pm.

As the new kids on the block, we’re eager to meet our neighbors and share a bit of the green landscape we’ve created at 610 Trent Drive, just down the street from Cocoa Cinnamon and LocoPops.

All proceeds from the Garden Tour tickets go toward Keep Durham Beautiful. Buy your tickets now! Hurry!

See our garden page for an illustrated history of how a field of gray compacted fill soil was transformed into a lush green living space.

Learn About BCC & Intentional Communities at our Virtual Open House, May 3

Did you know that the Triangle area supports 11 cohousing communities?

Every May, cohousing communities across the country recognize CoHoUS's National Cohousing Month. The Open House weekend is a time to spotlight the power of community-rooted housing and invite more people to experience cohousing firsthand.

As part of the 2026 National Cohousing Association Open House Events, BCC welcomes guests to a Virtual Open House via Zoom on Sunday, May 3, 3pm - 4pm (EDT).

Bring your curiosity about cohousing, ask questions about BCC’s history and culture, and meet a few residents of our collaborative community.
